ClancyWorks Dance Company is committed to providing excellent in-school and after-school programs for youth to reach their highest potential. We are partnered with the following programs in schools throughout Maryland, Greater Washington D.C., and Baltimore for the 2018/19 school year.

Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County & Maryland State Arts Council

A number of ClancyWorks’ in-school residency programs are supported by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County and Maryland State Arts Council.  

Baltimore County Public Schools

The Baltimore County Public Schools are dedicated to providing a quality, comprehensive educational program designed to address the needs of a diverse student population. Building on current successes, the system’s Blueprint for Progress outlines the vision, mission, belief statements, performance goals, performance indicators, and key strategies.

Excel Beyond the Bell Program

  Excel Beyond the Bell, organized by the Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth and Families, is an engaging after-school program for youth to engage with a variety of activities, including academic intervention and enrichment; recreation, sports and leisure; fine and performing arts; leadership and life skills; and career and workforce preparation.The Excel Beyond the Bell Partnership is committed to creating a strong out-of-school time system that will set standards of excellence, advance professional development, create and recognize quality programming and secure sustainable funding investment.Working together, we are building brighter futures for all our children and youth here in Montgomery County.

MICA / Americorps

ClancyWorks Dance Company is an Americorps site through the Community Arts Collaborative at MICA.
Americorps is a national service program that engages thousands of people each year in service to their communities in critical areas like education, health, and conservation.

Montgomery County Department of Recreation

Montgomery County Recreation readily serves the community by providing: 

    • Leisure activities that enhance skills, health and self-esteem;
    • Activities that incorporate current leisure trends and population demographics;
    • Ways to stimulate growth in knowledge through leisure experiences;
    • Opportunities to build sense of community;
    • A network of services linking the community through collaboration and partnerships;
    • Safe havens where participants feel welcome;
    • Fun for all.
A large part of this is encompassed within the Montgomery County Recreation after-school program, providing high quality, diverse and accessible programs for youth.

Dance Educator's Training Institute

DETI is Going Virtual!

Our annual Dance Educator's Training Institute (DETI) is scheduled to take place August 17-19, 2020.

This year, we've decided to take DETI online, due to COVID-19.

While we are saddened not to be able to hold DETI in person, we are excited to welcome people from around the world, who might not otherwise be able to join us! We will have more information about DETI Online in the coming days.
