Ilsa Bush has worked in dance, law, editing, and health advocacy. She currently teaches Dance Appreciation at George Mason University and ballet technique at Joy of Motion dance studio in Washington, DC. She has taught ballet at several private studios in the Washington, DC area and guest taught at Georgetown University. Ilsa performed with the New England Civic Ballet, the Boston Opera Group, and the Harvard Jazz Dance Workshop. She also worked as a children’s health advocate, chairing the government relations committee of the Tourette Syndrome Association. She presented the concerns of the group to Congress and gave in-service presentations about the neurological disorder to school teachers, nurses, and administrators. She received her B.A. from Harvard University and her J.D. from Arizona State University.
